Mobile policeman kills the mother of 14 - year-old Nigerian tennis star

Tragedy struck yesterday after an official of
the Mobile Police Force (MOPOL) allegedly
shot dead the mother of teenage tennis star,
Angel Macleod. It’s alleged that the Mopol,
who was guarding a hotel premises, engaged
in a slight altercation with the deceased. He
hit her and she reportedly hit him back with
an object.
This got the officer irked and he
subsequently shot her. Macleod is said to be
in a state of shock as her mother was her
all in all, catering to her every needs. In
Nigeria, Macleod is the leading junior tennis
player after winning all trophies in her
category.
