Liverpool star named in European Team of the Week - Klopp will be thrilled

Liverpool took Jose Mourinho's Chelsea to pieces
at the weekend to leave the London club and
Portuguese manager in an even worse state than
they were before the match. It was the game
which really looks like it's set Jurgen Klopp's
Liverpool reign off to a great start, after a little
stuttering beforehand.
If Liverpool can keep up that level of
performance and get similar results then they'll
likely finish above hapless Chelsea this season,
with the race for fourth place - and higher -
blown wide open.
Absolutely key to Liverpool's performance was
23 year old Philippe Coutinho who scored two
goals to seal the victory over Chelsea. Klopp was
thrilled with the Brazilian's performance and
made that clear after the match, saying that
everyone, he included, surely loves the footballer.
It wasn't only Klopp and Liverpool supporters
who recognised the good performance from
Coutinho, he's also managed to get himself into
one of the European Team of the Week
selections. Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello
Sport each week pick a selection of the best
players from around Europe, not including their
own Serie A, and Coutinho was in there.
The Liverpool player joined stars such as Sergi
Roberto, Marco Reus and a certain Iago Aspas -
who has seen his career revived since moving
back to Celta Vigo.
