MAN CITY STADIUM NOW 'OWNED' BY JURGEN KLOPP, ACCORDING TO WIKIPEDIA
The German boss oversaw a thumping 4-1
victory over Manuel Pellegrini's men on
Saturday, with one fan renaming the stadium
"Liverpool's U19 Training Ground"
Liverpool fans have been revelling in their
crushing win over Manchester City at the
Etihad Stadium - and one supporter appears
to have had a bit of fun with the Wikipedia
page for the stadium.
Jurgen Klopp's side tore City apart on
Saturday evening, taking an early 3-0 lead
through Eliaquim Mangala's own goal and
strikes from Philippe Coutinho and Roberto
Firmino, before Martin Skrtel wrapped up the
win in the second half after Sergio Aguero
had given the hosts some semblance of
hope.
As a result, the Wikipedia page for the club's
City of Manchester Stadium briefly listed a
new owner: Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, who
masterminded the stunning victory.
The page, now returned to normal, also listed
Roberto Firmino as the stadium's "operator"
after his masterclass, and mocked high-flying
City after their humbling on Saturday.
“As of 22/11/2015, it has been renamed as
Liverpool FC U19 Training Ground in honor
[sic] of the utter humiliation suffered by the
Manchester City first team at the hands of
the Liverpool FC first team,” read the edited
entry.
