“Neymar Better Than Ballon D’or Winners” – Buffon

Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has claimed that it is a travesty that teammate and Brazilian superstar has not yet won a Ballon d’Or in his career so far.

Neymar has been one of the best players on the planet for a couple of seasons now, but has always been behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

MySportDab report this season, the award was handed to Croatia and Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric.

Buffon, who moved from Juventus to PSG in the summer and missed the chance to play alongside Ronaldo, claims that its a scandal that Neymar has not yet won the award and also believes that he and Frenchman Kylian Mbappe will dominate the game for the next decade.

“I played with a lot of champions and I wanted to play with everyone, even with him [Ronaldo],” Buffon toldIl Corriere della Sera.

“But in Paris it’s not like there are not champions. Mbappe and Neymar have that kind of pedigree.

“I tell Neymar that it’s a scandal that has not yet won the Ballon d’Or and that he should be furious. He and Kylian have a disproportionate talent and can dominate for ten years.”

Usain Bolt sacked

Usain Bolt’s ambition to become a professional footballer with Australia’s Central Coast Mariners has just collapsed as his trial period was terminated after contract talks failed.

The eight-time Olympic champion had been trying out with the A-League side for an indefinite period since arriving in August, hoping to fulfil a childhood dream to become a soccer player.

The 32-year-old superstar’s quest garnered worldwide attention, which intensified when he scored two goals in a pre-season friendly, but his abilities were questioned and the club reportedly offered him only a fraction of the Aus$3 million (US$2.1 million) his management were said to be seeking, with outside sponsors needed to make the deal viable.

“As previously stated, the club and (Bolt’s representative) Ricky Simms have been in conversations with external partners to find a commercial solution that suits all parties.

Despite several promising potential partners, both Bolt and the Central Coast Mariners have amicably concluded that they will not be able to settle on a suitable deal in a timely manner” the Mariners said in a statement.

The 100m world record holder, who retired from athletics last year and has previously tried out with clubs in Germany, South Africa and Norway, thanked the Mariners for the opportunity.

“I would like to thank the Central Coast Mariners owners, management, staff, players and fans for making me feel so welcome during my time there. I wish the club success for the season ahead” said the Jamaican, who is reportedly in Melbourne and will head to Europe soon for a previously agreed commercial engagement.

Barcelona striker, Lionel Messi has returned to full training after he was out of action for three weeks due to an injury.

The Argentine striker fractured a bone in his right arm weeks ago while for playing in Barcelona 4 - 2 win over Sevilla.

This afternoon, Barcelona announced on social media that the 31-year-old has returned to full training.

Horrifying footage showing the moment Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, the Billionaire owner of Leicester football club died in a helicopter crash alongside four others has been released online.

The shocking clip obtained by The Sun which has now been handed to investigators probing the crash, shows the moment the aircraft took off from the centre circle at the King Power stadium on Saturday night, before it spins out of control and came crashing down to earth at a terrifying speed.

According to reports, the father-of-four Mr Srivaddhanaprabha's helicopter plummeted 200ft after malfuctioning, killing him, his pilot Eric Swaffer, 53, his girlfriend Izabela Lechowicz and staff members Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare.

Usain Bolt 'demanded a $3 million contract and was offered $150k '

According to reports in Australia, Usain Bolt has rejected a contract offer from Central Coast Mariners, where he is having his football trial.

Fox Sports’ Daniel Garb said he expected Bolt’s trial at Gosford to come to an end “pretty quickly”, with Bolt and the club set to part ways at the end of his trial

“It looks like the Usain Bolt trial is set to end pretty quickly. I think it’s run its race — pardon the pun,” Garb said on Fox Sports News on Monday night.

“The deal that’s been offered is set to be rejected, we understand, and that’s the latest news doing the rounds at the moment that Usain Bolt — it could be revealed overnight, probably tomorrow, it’s all set to end — his role at Gosford, and the Central Coast Mariners, and onwards the club moves and onwards Usain Bolt moves.

“But it won’t be together, that’s the understanding.”

It was claimed that the Jamiacan wanted a $3 million contract from the Central Coast Mariners but they offered him $150k which he rejected.

The news comes just days after the eight-time Olympic gold medalist and world's fastest man landed the contract offer following his impressive performance for the club.

Football star, Lionel Messi who has been sidelined for three weeks has been pictured for the first time since breaking his arm while playing for Barcelona.

The Argentine striker fractured a bone in his right arm during the Bracelona win over Sevilla on Saturday.

The 31-year-old footballer who will miss Champions League clash with Inter Milan on Wednesday and Sunday's El Clasico with Real Madrid was pictured donning a sling to protect his injured arm as he stepped out on Monday with his wife Antonella Roccuzzo and one of his sons, Thiago.

Jose Mourinho is to launch an internal investigation into how Manchester United's starting line-up was leaked ahead of Saturday's clash with Chelsea.

According to Mail Online, the Portuguese manager was left fuming after waking up at the team's hotel to find his selected 11 accurately posted on social media, giving his opponent an insight to his selection for the clash which ended 2 - 2.

Only players and backroom staff had knowledge of the starting line-up, now the coach wants to find out exactly how the information got out.

This is the second time Mourinho's team list has been leaked. Last month,United's trip to West Ham ended in a 3 -1 defeat after his started line-up got leaked.

G.O.A.Ts misses El-clasico after Messi fractures bone in his right arm

After the exit of Cristiano ronaldo from Real madrid. Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi has also been ruled out of next Sunday's Clasico against Real Madrid after fracturing a bone in his right arm in their 4-2 win over Sevilla.

The 31-year-old Argentine was taken off in the 26th minute after falling on his right arm after a clash with Sevilla's Franco Vazquez.

Barcelona confirmed after the game that the 31-year-old suffered a "fracture of the radial bone in his right arm" and is set to miss the Champions League tie against Inter Milan in midweek and the clash with Real Madrid next Sunday.

'It's an important loss and we have some difficult rivals to face but we have the players to come in,' said Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde.

'There are games when he has not played from the start and we have played with the same way. We have to stay focused on the important games that we have.'

They later confirmed the injury is likely going to keep him out for three weeks. As well as the league game against Real Madrid and Champions League clash with Inter Milan.
If he does not recover in time for the latter, exactly three weeks today, then Messi will likely make a timely return for Barca’s testing trip to the Wanda Metropolitano to take on title rivals Atletico Madrid on November 24.

Jude Ighalo said "Death threats almost forced me to retire from International football''

Super Eagles striker, Jude Ighalo, says the death threats himself and his family members got after Nigeria's exit from the 2018 World cup tournament in Russia, almost forced him to retire from International football.

In an interview with KweseESPN, the 29-year-old China-based star said he got concerned when his fans turned against him and bombarded him and his wife, Sonia, with series of death threat.

“I know the fans want me to score goals. I understand them. But some of them took it to another level. They said a lot of things. Neymar hopes to return to Barcelona' a year after moving to France in a £200m deal

A new report has claimed that Neymar regrets his decision to leave Barcelona for PSG in a £200m deal and is desperate to return to the Nou Camp at the end of the season.

Mundo Deportivo claims that the Brazilian has offered to rejoin the Spanish giants 'several times' already and that a big-money deal is 'not impossible'.According to the Spanish Newspaper, Neymar is said to have grown tired with life in Paris and wants to move back to Barcelona and be reunited with Lionel Messi.

Mundo Deportivo says that his relationship with the Argentine is a key factor, as are his friendships with the likes of Luis Suarez and Ivan Rakitic.

The outlet also added that Neymar regards Barca as 'his club' and he has not been motivated by playing in Ligue 1, with PSG already eight points clear at the top of the table.

Paris St-Germain signed the Brazilian forward for a world record fee of 222m euros (£200m) from Barcelona in August 2017.

Aaron Ramsey announces the birth of his twin boys and a fan suggests names for them

Football star, Aaron Ramsey who plays for Premier League club Arsenal and the Wales national team has just announced the birth of his twin boys.

The midfielder took to his Twitter page to share the good news that his wife of four-years Colleen has given birth to twin boys.

'The twins have finally arrived! Two beautiful boys ???? Thank you for the kind messages @_C_Ramsey'

Although, he didn't reveal the names of the two beautiful boys, but a fan was quick to suggest that the Arsenal star name them "FA Cup final winning goal 2014" and "FA Cup final winning goal 2017", in reference to the winning goals he scored.

Ramsey and his childhood sweetheart Colleen who tied the knot at Caldicot Castle in Wales in the summer of 2014, already have a two-year-old boy called Sonny.

Chelsea star and Spanish midfielder, Cesc Fabregas, has received another honour to his cabinet by earning a spot in the 2019 Guinness World Book of Records.
The World Cup winner and two-time Premier League champion earned the spot after becoming the fastest player to reach 100 Premier League assists.
'I'm not the fastest, I'm not the strongest, I'm not the most flexible, I don't jump high,' Fabregas said.
'But to achieve this record in my career is one of the proudest things in my job, because it is my job and I did it well.'
The landmark assist came on 31 December 2016, in his 293rd match.
That pass, which set up Willian in Chelsea's 4-2 win over Stoke City, made him the record-holder for the fastest time to achieve 100 assists in the league, 74 matches sooner than Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs in second place with 367 matches.The former Arsenal midfielder earned his first World Record title away from the football pitch and on the set of Sky 1's 'A League of Their Own' back in July 2017.He became the joint holder of 'The most volley passes in 30 seconds by a pair' with 15 successful passes when he appeared alongside regular team captain and former England and Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp,

Barcelona star, Ardan Turan faces 12 years in jail for brawl with popular singer, Berkay Sahin

Today, Turkish prosecutors charged Barcelona player Arda Turan over a brawl with a prominent singer, asking for the footballer to be sentenced to twelve-and-a-half years in jail.

The prosecutors charged Turan, who is currently on loan to Istanbul’s Basaksehir, with sexual harassment, unlicensed possession of weapons and causing intentional injury over the fight with singer Berkay Sahin, the state-run Anadolu news agency said.

Sahin, who goes on stage by his first name Berkay, was also charged, with prosecutors demanding up to two years in jail. Turan, 31, had last week been summoned to an Istanbul police station to give a statement about the incident but was allowed to walk free. The incident, which took place outside an Istanbul nightclub and reportedly left Sahin with a broken nose, has transfixed Turkey over the last days.

In a bizarre sequence of events, Turan then reportedly went to the hospital where the singer was being treated clutching a gun and begging to be shot and forgiven. The attacking midfielder, who won 100 caps for the national side, has for years been Turkey’s best known footballer and is a strong supporter of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

He backed Erdogan strongly after the failed July 2016 coup, appearing at rallies outside his home, and the Turkish president even came as a witness to Turan’s marriage. Turan is notorious for poor behaviour both on and off the field. He was banned for a record 16 games by the Turkish football authorities in May after he shoved and verbally abused a referee in a game for Basaksehir.

Turan joined Basaksehir last season on loan from Barcelona, where he had largely endured an unhappy spell on the bench after joining from Atletico Madrid.

Real Madrid plans to sue Portuguese newspaper that reported false news about them"Ronaldo's Case"

Spanish giant, Real Madrid are planning to take legal action against a Portuguese newspaper that reported the club forced Cristiano Ronaldo to settle with the woman who accused him of rape.

In a statement, the club said the information published by Correio da Manhã is “categorically false” and was printed in an effort to “seriously damage the image of this club”.

Real said they have “absolutely no knowledge of any of the information that the newspaper published with regard to the player Cristiano Ronaldo, and therefore the club was unable to take action on a matter of which it had no knowledge.”

The club are expected to take legal action against a Portuguese newspaper that suggested the club pressurised Cristiano Ronaldo into seeking a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with his accuser.

This comes a day after Correio da Manhã published an article saying that part of Ronaldo’s defence will be to say that Real forced him to settle. It said Ronaldo was against settling and always declared his innocence.

According to the newspaper, they said what they published and everything that went into the article was checked.

Kathryn Mayorga, 34, filed a lawsuit late last month in Nevada saying she was raped by Ronaldo in Las Vegas in 2009. The teacher who was an aspiring model at the time of the alleged assault, claims Ronaldo raped her in a bathroom at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas in the early hours of June 13, 2009.

But Cristiano Ronaldo has repeatedly denied the accusations but admitted that they had consensual sex after which 'they returned to Rain nightclub and spent several hours together.'

He also admitted that he paid Mayorga $375,000 (£284,000) hush-money payment in 2010, after she signed a non-disclosure agreement to keep quiet about their hook up.

Justice for CR7' campaign begins as Cristiano Ronaldo's family break their silence over his rape allegations

Cristiano Ronaldo's family has broken their silence over his rape allegations by showing their support for the player on social media.

This comes after Kathryn Mayorga, a former model turned teacher, accused the sportsman of raping her in a Vegas hotel suite back in 2009.

Ronaldo's mother Maria Dolores and sister Katia Aveiro both posted pictures of Cristiano in a Superman cape with matching messages on Facebook and Instagram, vowing to seek 'justice'.

Dolores wrote: 'I want to see who has the courage to put this photo on their profile for a week and make a chain for him..for Portugal, for him, for us and for the union of our people, for justice. He deserves it.'

The picture of Ronaldo carried two hashtags in Portuguese. One translates as '#Ronaldo, we are with you to the end' and the other - #Justicacr7 - as '#Justice for CR7.'

Katia's wrote in her message: 'I support Cristiano. This seems like a trap because there are things that don't make sense.'

Mother Sandra Isabel Tavares Goes posted a photo on her Facebook page in response to Dolores' message, showing her kissing a Portuguese football shirt with the number seven on it.

She said: 'Together we will be stronger and Ronaldo will feel that strength. Yesterday, today and always I will be with you.'

England and Chelsea legend, Frank Lampard has been inducted into the Legends of Football Hall of Fame.

The now Derby County manager picked up the prestigious gong at a star-studded charity event which took place on Monday night n London.
The Chelsea legend has now joined a list of elite names to have received the award following his scintillating career at club and international level.

Lampard said after receiving his award: 'It's a real honour for me to receive the Legends of Football award this year. Just seeing my name mentioned amongst those past winners is something to cherish.'

EA Sports who have used Ronaldo as the face of their long-running video game FIFA 19 but the gaming firm joined Nike in expressing their concern.
