supporters a scare when he got caught with the
ball by the corner flag.
Ter Stegen has been slacked off by Spanish
media for coming off his line and playing like a
sweeper behind his backline, but never would
they have imagined he would do something this
wild.
Playing Belarusian side FC BATE Borisov in the
Champions League, ter Stegen seemed to have a
brain explosion when he came flying out of his
box to recover a long ball.
After faking to kick it out, ter Stegen found
himself in a sticky situation when the ball
stopped rolling a few feet before the byline as he
attempted to shield it out of play from a BATE
attacker.
The Barcelona keeper then pulled out a slick
move to evade the opposing player and kick-start
a counter-attack for his team.
