Liverpool News: Klopp's starlet excitement, Sterling's sly dig, shock Suarez update
Jurgen Klopp thinks Jordon Ibe has a got a bright
future ahead of him at Liverpool.
The 19-year-old turned in an excellent display
and scored the winner in the Reds' 1-0 Europa
League victory away to Rubin Kazan last night.
"He has a really good base and he feels good at
this moment but he has to work on things and he
has a lot to learn," Klopp said .
"If he is prepared for this then everything will be
good."
Raheem Sterling claims he has noticed a
difference in quality at Manchester City.
The 20-year-old has hit his stride since
completing a £49million switch move to the
Etihad in the summer, netting six times in 15
appearances.
And Sterling spotted it straight away in training.
"Obviously, Liverpool had many great players as
well but the players here have been at the
highest level for many years and you can
definitely see that on the training pitch," Sterling
told Manchester Evening News .
"The tempo, the passing, the two-touch
movement in training; it's really surprised me.
It's really sharp, really good to be involved in."
Mario Suarez has quashed talk he could leave
Fiorentina.
The Spanish midfielder has been touted as a
Reds target, and he was on Arsenal and
Manchester United's radars in the summer.
But he insists his only focus is on becoming a
first team regular with La Viola.
"I’ve only been here a few months, it’s only
natural I’d need time to get used to a new
League and a new team," he said .
“I am very happy here and must continue like
this so I can make it more difficult for the Coach
to pick his XI.”
