Luke Shaw has been pictured without crutches
as he steps up his gruelling rehabilitation from
a double leg break.
The England left-back suffered the horror
injury in Manchester United's Champions
League defeat at PSV Eindhoven earlier this
season.
It ruled him out for the whole campaign, and
he will almost certainly be absent from the
Three Lions' travelling party to France for Euro
2016 next summer.
Shaw was attending United's Christmas party,
51 days before the big day, with Louis van
Gaal conscious of the busy festive period.
Wayne Rooney led his team to The Place
Aparthotel last night after finally breaking his
and his team's scoring drought against CSKA
Moscow at Old Trafford 24 hours earlier.
Bands and fire breathers provided the
entertainment inside the hotel's nightclub,
with the evening ending at 1am.
Some players arrived in limousines and boss
Van Gaal stayed throughout with wife, Truus.
Bastian Schweinsteiger was joined by his
girlfriend tennis player Ana Ivanovic, while
Coleen Rooney showed off her baby bump.
The players were given the morning off
training on Wednesday before the Premier
League clash with West Brom this weekend.
