Real Madrid ready to return for Manchester United’s David De Gea next summer [Sun]
Here we go again.
Having missed out on him at the 11th hour last
summer, Real Madrid are ready to come back for
David De Gea next summer, according to the
Sun .
De Gea looked all set to complete a move to the
Bernabeu on transfer deadline day last August,
but the deal was scuppered at the last minute in
a myriad of smoke and mirrors, and broken fax
machines.
Since then, all 4 parties have gone about their
business: United have put De Gea back in the
team, and the Spanish keeper has returned to
form.
In Madrid, meanwhile, the club and Keylor Navas
have also made peace, with the Costa Rican
producing some brilliant displays in the Madrid
goal, despite the knowledge that Madrid were
prepared to use him as a makeweight in the
deal.
The Sun now claim that Madrid are planning to
lure De Gea once again this summer – and that
they have no intention of going through another
epic saga like last time.
