Transfer News: Huge Man Utd winger offer, Arsenal forward exit, Chelsea flop wants deal
16-year-old Manchester United winger Callum
Gribbin was offered a huge deal by rivals City in
the summer, according to the Sunday People.
City offered Gribbin £11,000-a-week while his Old
Trafford future was under scrutiny in the
summer.
The England youth international is rated as one
of the best prospects at United's academy and
City chiefs offered him the monster deal to bring
him to the blue-half of Manchester.
But Ryan Giggs and other United chiefs got wind
of the transfer plot and persuaded Gribbin to
sign a new four-year deal.
Arsene Wenger has revealed Joel Campbell
wanted to leave in the summer .
The forward grabbed his first Arsenal goal in the
3-0 win over Swansea on Saturday.
"I think he wanted to go [in the summer]
because he didn’t play, which you can
understand and as well because he didn’t play at
all," he said.
"Sometimes people want you to buy more and
more players but after a while you have to look
at your own players."
Chelsea flop Marko Marin is keen to secure a
permanent exit from Stamford Bridge , according
to Turkish paper AMK .
The 26-year-old is on loan at the Turkish Super
Lig club, who have a £2.8m permanent option.
"I came here to become a champion and I want
to be part of the big plans we have here we are
not where we want to be in the league but we
will turn things around," Marin said.
Marin joined Chelsea in 2012 but has been
loaned to four clubs.
