Temporary closure of one lane on Lagos – Ibadan Expressway for construction work has led to a gridlock at the Berger end of the Expressway.


The Lagos State Government had announced that there would be a temporary closure of one lane of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway at Berger bridge end between 10:AM and 1:PM on Sunday, May 8, 2016.

A statement by the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Steve Ayorinde,  said the closure was necessitated by the ongoing construction of a pedestrian bridge at Berger bus stop.
