Bafana call for Sandilands
Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Wayne
Sandilands has been entrusted to replace the
injured Itumeleng Khune in the Bafana Bafana
squad.
It was initially thought that Khune's understudy
at Kaizer Chiefs, Brilliant Khuzwayo, would
replace the 28-year-old but could not commit to
the call-up as he had family matters to attend
to.
The official Twitter account for the South African
national football team confirmed that the 32-
year-old Sandilands will get his shot to vie for
the goalkeeper spot against Angola.
