Gunfire, explosions outside Stade de France, multiple people reported dead

Gunfire and explosions have been heard
outside the Stade de France during the
France vs. Germany friendly, leaving multiple
people dead and even more wounded
Multiple media outlets are reporting that
grenades were thrown outside of the Stade de
France during the second half of the France vs.
Germany friendly on Friday. Multiple casualties
have reportedly been suffered.

In addition, there were reports of a shootout at
a nearby restaurant which has left four killed,
and even more wounded.

In total, 18 people were found dead. It is not
known whether these two incidents are linked,
but this news comes as a big shock and is a
tragedy. Despite the explosions, the game
continued but it was pretty clear that the
players’ heads were elsewhere.
